| Résumé : | Both dementia and migration impact society and interact with each other, but very little is known about "Dementia and migration". There is emerging evidence that a migration background is associated with underdiagnosis or lack of access to appropriate healthcare. Thus, the care of people with a migration background (PwM) is a public health challenge. This atlas aims to contribute to the comprehensive analysis of the situation in Europe. It is a supplement to the existing knowledge about dementia and sees its value in focusing on PwM and their situation. It provides : (1) estimations of the number of PwM with dementia and graphical presentation for the EU and EFTA member states and the UK ; (2) analyses of national dementia plans and care guidelines ; (3) as well as analyses of healthcare systems. Based on statistical analyses, literature research, and expert interviews this work (a) provides information for people and organizations operation in the field and (b) can be a guide for stakeholders when strategically developing healthcare systems and services on a national or international level in laws, policies, strategies, and action plans. In the end, it is one of the very few, up-to-date comprehensive analyses to inform on dementia and migration across Europe. | En ligne : | https://www.dzne.de/fileadmin/Dateien/editors/images/Projekte/EU-Atlas/EU_Atlas.
